Our Position on Unions

We are committed to fostering a work environment in which the values of honesty, integrity, collaboration and teamwork guide the activity of all.

We believe that our ability to meet patient care needs, provide quality service, and create a positive and just work environment is best achieved by maintaining a direct working relationship with associates rather than by working through a third party, such as a labor union.

The decision to be represented by a labor union, however, is ultimately one to be made voluntarily by each associate, through a secret ballot election, and should be free of coercion from either party.

Our associates have a right and responsibility to collect complete, truthful and balanced information regarding what it means to be represented by a union in the workplace.
